LETTER TALK

Letter Talk is a magazine that I created for my intro to typography course at Parsons School of Design.  The course required that the magazine focus its subject matter on typography, however, feeling that the magazine needed a more unique touch, I focused the typography magazine’s audience to female designers.  Providing a space for them to be showcased and to share new trends.  The title Letter Talk was designed to be a play on words for “Let Her Talk”.  Emphasizing the idea of providing a space for female designers to network and discuss typography.  This title’s double meaning was enforced using the double ‘t’s’ in ‘letter’, creating a ligature that could also present an H.
